(W)REC(K) A BOOK: Wolf Games

In public, the werewolf prince is my bodyguard. But in private, I'm his slave.

Calys Adelardi has made two promises for the good of her pack. One is to marry Pasquale, a boring but well-respected panther prince. Second is to follow everything her bodyguard says in the bedroom. The werewolf prince may be a notorious playboy, but he's also the fiercest fighter she knows. In truth, her bodyguard would have also made great husband material- if only he didn't hate her so much.

Alejandro Moretti is determined not to fall in love with Calys, the princess also known as the "human monster". But then a serious threat to her life emerges, and Alejandro realizes he has to make a decision once and for all: give in to his feelings... or turn his back on Calys to protect his heart.

Yep, definitely back in the craziness of Marian's world.

Oh, Marian! How could you. T_T So Wolf Games follows up on Calys and Alejandro. More than a week's passed, and Calys is at a party meeting her fiance's guests. Alejandro is off flirting with his furry butt when he should be a good Cavaliere. No offense.

Calys knows it's a good plan for everyone: have Alejandro at her side as a Cavaliere, unite her panthers with Pasquale's, the Hernandez pack, and assure that she successfully becomes Alpha with as little bloodshed as possible. But when Alejandro gets her alone, all her plans are thrown out the proverbial window. No matter how much she denies it, Calys can never say no to him, and Alejandro has the same problem.

It isn't until her fiance attempts to assassinate her that Alejandro starts to show anything besides his hard-on, and Calys? She realizes she's in love with him. He's frustrating, confusing, stubbornly in hate with her, but by the heavens above, she can't help it. And when she lets it slip out during a comfortable night together, he breaks her heart by saying she made a mistake. Alejandro leaves her crying, something she used to proudly tell him a warrior never does.

The End
*to book two*

Definitely cried towards the end when they left it that way. T_T The story centered around Alejandro and his decision to be an asshole or take a chance on Calys. I feel like it would've been better if this series had been published as one full book instead of three short ones, then it'd be like The Werewolf Prince and I, where a lot of stuff happens but it still flows all into the same stream. I feel this way because their story is really good and some things happen, but the impression I was left with was that the only thing that happened was Calys realizing she loves the brute and said brute turning her down.

Again, it was a good short and to-the-point story, and their journey is very intoxicating. Tee has a knack for creating alpha males with jerk tendencies but really passionate hearts. I'm always rooting for them even when I feel like choking them.

I'm already on the third book. :3
Happy Reading =^~^=
