*****

This is the first novella in an ongoing story.

It contains content and is unsuitable for readers under the age of 18.

Though in my personal opinion, this book isn't suitable for a lot of readers who lack the proper mental capacity for maturity, and there is no age for that. Just saying.

Viola Rivard, I am beginning to find you in a lot of my shelves! I've read several of your other starter-series by now, and I must say, you know how to set a girl on fire. Rivard has a way with words that instantly connected you to both the Master and the one being thoroughly looked after.

The Dragon's Appraiser is a hot read because I love dragons and hot guys. This installment gave off the Scheherazade feels. You know, The One Thousand and One Nights? She was a woman who distracted a slightly put-off king with 1,001 stories so he didn't kill her as some sacrifice to appease his own anger issues against a certain cuckold, cold-hearted bitch. This book very much takes on a similar approach, with Madja having to give the dragon a reason not to kill her.

And it works. With more stories she has to offer, the dragon, once bored out of his ancient mind, suddenly has an interest in the things she does or says. I rather liked his indifference to her in the beginning because the thing that I love most is seeing them change. He took on his human form after a few moments with her and- *grins* you can imagine his fascination with a certain anatomy stirring for some female touches.

Let's be real here. She doesn't want to die, and he's grasping at straws to find anything of interest. Madja's technically a part of his horde now, and dragons are very protective of what's their's. Yeah, he's not gonna tell her that she's safe, and why not get some fun out of it, you know? He's a fantasy, a mythical being- a god -whose attention she's captured, and don't you dare tell me that isn't fucking hot.

Her lessons on sex for the big guy was the icing on the cake. I just loved seeing him lose himself inside her, realizing that rutting like animals wasn't so beneath him. Nothing's sexier than seeing a man being brought down with the reins still firmly in his grip.

Bless this book.

I won't spoil it (well I mean I pretty much said it all) as the sex scenes and sensuals are better received in the moment, word for word. The writing flowed as well as several streams I shan't mention, and the dragon who needs no name was a pompous, domineering alpha male who found himself surrendering to the most basic needs.

Quenching one's thirst. Feasting. And fucking like there's no tomorrow.

Happy Reading =^-^=
